Family Cooking Project

NCAT Extends Thanks to the Wellbank Foundation

NCAT would like to formally thank the Wellbank Foundation for funding our Family Cooking Project at Blakelaw Community Centre.

Through this initiative, parents and children who actively participated have discovered the value of spending quality time together, sharing skills, listening, and understanding one another. These small yet meaningful interactions have played a crucial role in strengthening family bonds and fostering a sense of togetherness.

The cooking sessions were part of a broader support network, promoting healthier lifestyles. Participants were encouraged to stay active, access proper nutrition and diet plans, and seek mental health support through counseling services.

We are proud to report that the project has positively impacted 55 families, engaging a total of 1,040 residents in Blakelaw. The feedback and enthusiasm from the community underline the importance of initiatives like this in building stronger, healthier neighborhood.

Thank you, Wellbank Foundation, for your generous support in making this project a success. Together, we are making a real difference in our community.

Thanks

Glenn Pendleton
