We are delighted to help with the Bus service - it makes such a difference to so many local people.
ELCAP as a Community Anchor Hub diversified into running a Community Transport Scheme many years ago and today operates a small fleet of six minibuses, three of which are wheelchair accessible.
As an organisation we have a weekly footfall of over 2,500 people each and every week and many of these are passengers on our minibuses and the journeys undertaken include lunch clubs; coffee mornings; bingo clubs; social gatherings; excursions; school swimming lessons; school sports teams and so much more.
Public Transport is often unreliable, inaccessible or unaffordable to many and so our Transport Service is often described as a lifeline to those that benefit from it.
