Triangular helped a refugee from Eritrea who had endured a harrowing experience as a conscript in his home country’s military, serving for nearly a decade. Throughout his military service, he witnessed numerous atrocities of war and the rampant abuses committed by Eritrea’s armed forces.Seeking safety and refuge, he claimed asylum in 2022 and spent two years in Asylum Seekers Hotel Accommodation before being granted Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK in 2024.

Now, he and his family are settled and thriving in their new home, grateful for the support and opportunities provided by our charity as well as the generous funders whose contributions have made this transformation possible.

He expressed his gratitude, stating, “I am extremely happy that, after many years of hardship, I have received enough support to stand on my own feet. The assistance I received not only facilitated the proper settlement of my family in the UK but also significantly improved my mental health. I am truly grateful to Triangular and all those who support it for making this positive change a reality. May God bless you abundantly. Looking ahead, I aspire to give back by volunteering and supporting others in similar circumstances, so they too can experience a better life
