Protecting the Environment and allaying fears – educating and helping.

As if covid 19 wasn’t bad enough, along comes a cost-of-living crisis, and then to cap it all – already anxious folk of all ages are subject to  alarmist headlines about Climate Change -  tsunamis, fires, floods, pollution and global warming bringing  new scares and anxieties and additional fears , leaving people of all ages fearful of the world we live in and feeling helpless -  wondering what they can do and  how they can make a positive personal contribution to helping themselves to help each other and future generations.

This project works to raise awareness and allay fears and engage people in learning and applying their learning around  making a demonstrative difference.

Rooted in environmental sustainability and learning about and applying  eco friendly practices, that can be shared across extended families and local community groups,  our project also tackles poverty and  introduces fresh veg and fruits, home grown produce, preparation of it and an awareness of nutrition into the lives of folk who often run out of cash 3 days into their weekly budget because of reliance on take aways –

We plant – we feed and we harvest. Fruit and veg.

NTDF work hard to flag up the need to be planet aware –

We have recently transformed our car park eye sore of debris into a  pollinator friendly wild flower garden.
