Family Gateway - boxing project
"Family Gateway are extremely grateful to have received funding from the Wellbank Foundation in order to support with the delivery of our Fit Mind Boxing Warriors sessions. The funding will allow us to extend our current offer of non contact boxing for young people aged 7-17 years; providing them with a free six week course and then access to three Boxing Club sessions per week. All of Fit Mind Boxing Warriors sessions are based on their 10 core values; Discipline, Focus, Dedication, Determination, Resilience, Respect/Manners, Self-confidence, Teamwork, Good Physical Health and Good Mental Health. These sessions provide a safe space and healthy outlet for individuals who may otherwise be at a higher risk of exploitation or becoming involved with ASB."
